Reflective Essay

For our project for this last grading, our teacher asked us to make a blog. I already heard about blogs but I'm not that familiar about it. i thought I'll be having a hard time making it but our teacher taught us how to make some of it and my friends and classmates also shared to me what they know about blogs. So I started to learn some stuffs about making a blog.

Just when I thought I'm done with all the things that is needed, I started to realize that I don't have anything to share. I'm not fond of sharing even the slightest detail of happenings. I got nothing to post except the papers that we composed. I wanted to learn more so during my free time, I explored how to make this blogger works. So when I found out, I already got the hang of it. And enjoyed posting my works.

How important do teachers will give to us? Do they make us good? Do they help us for our better life?

My teacher. I treat my teachers as my second parents. Because they help us good and they help us to make better. Teachers are very important in many ways.

Without teacher there will be no engineers and architecs that that will build houses,buildings,bridges and schools.There will be no doctors and nurses that will cure our sickneses band illneses.There will be no policemen and soldiers that will protect us and secure.And ther will be no othrer profesions that will exist.

So now,I would like to thank to all teachers all over the world.Because of them they make us successful and the world more progress.

I salute you,my Hero for giving your full support to us,students,to improve our knowledge and check our attitude to be a good and better student.

What I can say my teacher,my Hero is you should continue your good works and to be a good model to us.And THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Thank You Ma'am

          In our   society now fifty two percent of the population are the people who are in need. Fifty two percent of this people needs to tighten their belt in order to have their daily needs. Among the two stories I would probably agree with the deconstruction of Thank You Ma'am because nowadays people in the society cannot directly give money to someone they don't even know just to let them buy the things that would pleasure them. I can't even imagine it! Practically what people need for their daily lives now is money. The prices of the products in the market is increasing randomly. I don't think we can still find a person like Mrs. Jones who is living in a
rented house yet is still very willing to give her ten dollars just for the blue suede shoes of someone who is not even is relative. Another is Mrs. Jones' treatment to Roger, I disagree it because   people who commits robbery needs to be punished. I think her treatment towards Roger is to much, giving him half of her ten cent cake, letting himenter in her house just to let him clean his face and the worst giving him her ten dollars. For me, if she continue doing this Roger might think that stealing is okay or he might turn into a person who always depends on what people around him can give to him. I was also surprised in the line where Mrs. Jones is carrying a purse that contains nails and a hammer. Maybe she's going to constuct something, but why is it the only things in her bag? For me it's questionable to find a LADY carrying those kind of materials in her bag. Yes,
some good traits of humans are being humble, caring, understanding but in her case I think she had overdone it. I think it's not good enough to give the reason of "wanting someone to change" to let someone enter your house who was planning to steal from you a while ago but is stopped.

          In my own experience, I've never been given
something I wanted as punishment. Maybe my mom or dad will talk to me sincerely
to correct my wrong doing but I don't do it again.

What Christmas Means To Me

          Christmas to me is a celebration, which includes spending time with my family, decorating the entire house, inside and out, and shopping, for the people I love. Doing this with the people I love is what means the most to me.

          Spending Christmas with my family is very important to me. We usually gather and celebrate at my parent's house. We spend the day playing games and sharing their new gifts and toys that Santa Claus brought for each of them. We get so eager to decorate, that it is hard to restrain them. Every year, my parents add a little more to the outside decorations. We try to change the decorations, which we put out every year. The men finish up just about the same time as, we women and then it is time to decorate the tree together. The children love this the most. The tree is always real, and is usually six to seven feet tall. Most of the ornaments have been collected over the years and are very old. They have become real family treasures. We all have a favorite
one that we each put on the tree. All the children put their First Christmas ornament on the tree, that I brought, as a gift.
          Ifeel so fortunate, to have my family throughout the year, but especially, at Christmas time. When showing, my family just how much I love them and what exactly they mean to me. That is so very important to me. Christmas, for me is about being with family, loving each other and showing each other just exactly
how we all feel

Change……..change…….. change….

          We all change. Like what they always say, “Nothing is constant in this world except change”. I am changing you are changing and they are changing. That is something we can’t control. It’s there and will always be. And it’s just all around us.

           I want to make a change. And I want to start it in myself. Not everybody knows this but I’m a “lazy crazy” person. I don’t do household chores much. I just can’t seem to do them at all. I’m as lazy as sloth. But I want to change that one though. I don’t know but they always get angry when I just sleep all day long during weekends. I’m referring to my parents. I don’t seem to get in but I think they are just so exaggerated every time they scold me for not doing anything but sleep. I mean what’s wrong with sleeping? I want to change that attitude, but still I don’t know how? But maybe, I will try something new. To avoid some of their screams, yells and sermons next time. Maybe that’s it.

           I want to change not only for myself but also in the society. It’s awkward for me, because I don’t usually pay attention about our society today. Now if I’m going to change something about it, that would be the so called “teenagers way of life”. I know I’m part of it, but it seems not right. It seems like everywhere, I see young girls dying to be on TV. and they won’t stop until they reach their
dreams. Some even take diet pills, taking surgeries, Photoshop pictures and magazines that tell them how they should be. Teenagers today are not like before – that’s for sure.

             And we are still talking about change here. I'm done with the society, I guess im going to say something about the nation, too. Changing our nation is impossible, I know. Just looking on how they control the country right at this time. Corruption is one thing that needs to be changed. Corrupted minds of corrupted pinoys are everywhere. It’s not new for us, Filipinos is it? Leaders themselves are making it worst. Even ordinary citizens are not acting on it, and that doesn’t make any difference. We Filipinos have so many dreams for the country. We always wanted to improve. But can we? Can we change?

              “Change the world” – now that sounds like a plan .you might say I’m stupid but I guess changing the world is much more like making a song. You must put the right words for it. In the same way on how to change the world into a better place. If we all just get along with the same rhythm and sing in the same song we all get peace in each and every one. Now that sounds hard. Well maybe, if one day terrorists get tired of what they were doing, when soldiers take a rest for a
while, when racers slow down for a while, maybe it could happen. – Maybe…..

            Changes happen every time. We just have to be ready for it. You can’t change it, andneither can I. but remember, there’s only one person who can totally change the whole out of u – God. Can you change things without him? Can we? – I wonder ……

Our Values Today

Today, most of us notice that the values we are having right now is a bit different. Actually, they’re not gone. They have just been forgotten because of some changes.

              Technology, for example is one of the biggest thing that affects our values. Kids nowadays are influenced by modern technology. Like computers and television and should not be happening.
If you are going to compare our values today and before, you can see the
biggest transformation.

                We should bring back the values we had most especially now that the world is
becoming unfair. And a little cruel.
